 PEREGO WELCOME UP & OVER, UNEQUALLED RESISTANCE AND DURATION If you are looking for a secure up & over, handy and that lasts 10 times more than average, choose Welcome. Its strength is in the structure and material it is made with, thanks to exclusive and technological systems which ensure an exceptional resistance to the good and bad weather. Welcome is produced by Perego, a company that for over 40 years has been specializing in the field of the metal doors, and that has recently became part of the Dierre group. Welcome up & over by Perego are designed to maintain all their value through time. Their exceptional resistance to corrosion and to the weathering agents is due both to the working techniques and to the quality of steel, galvanised and subjected to a special protective treatment (prevarnishing) with polyurethane varnish. The Welcome up & over doors offer superior performance even in terms of functionality, quietness in their operation and comfort at a very highly competitive cost. THE STRUCTURE OF THE LEAF A unique and innovative concept, made of weld-free polymerized galvanised sheet metal. The parts are mechanically linked together connecting the sheet metal without the removal or addition of materials, giving the door exclusive aesthetic and invulnerable characteristics to the weathering agents. The mostly stressed points on the leaf (the connection of the arms and of the bearings) are reinforced with ABS blocks. Horizontal Omega along the entire width of the leaf improve sturdiness and stability. THE STRUCTURE OF THE FRAME Made of pre-painted steel with two reinforced stiles connected by a cross member, shaped in such a way to house all the parts necessary for the movement of the leaf and securing of the ties. An angle piece placed on the lower part works as a spacer, necessary during the operation of the main door. The angle part-spacer can be removed in the event of installation on a finished floor or can be sunk-in for floors that have to be made with different dimensions. The movement is achieved through a counterweight system connected to the door mechanisms and protected by pre-varnished sheet metal guards. THE LOCKING SYSTEM Welcome is fitted with a Yale type cylinder lock, positioned on the upper part of the door. A hammer-headed handle is present both on the inside and outside, with manual release for opening from the inside. The door has a T-handle on the outside and a pull cord on the inside to ease opening and closing. THEIR BEAUTY Care for the detail is a feature of the Perego main doors. The Welcome door is light ivory as standard, complete with a 50 micron protection film. On request it is available in RAL 8017 brown, RAL 6005 green, RAL 7040 grey, RAL 7016 anthracite or any other RAL colour. The finish is applied with electrostatic spraying and then kiln baked.. For this reason Perego, through three basic types and a wide range of options, makes your main door exactly as you want it, from the size to the colour, from the configuration of the leaf to the movement being either manual or motorized. MOTORIZATION To open and close the main door with the utmost comfort. The system is electro-mechanical and is applied on the internal side of the leaf. Equipped with an electrical panel, courtesy lights, open-close button, anti-squashing sensitive rib, remote control and receiver. It may be supplemented with photocells, key selector, antenna and external flashing device. The door may also be supplied with the sole preparation for the motorization system. |
