For the wood to be well preserved it is necessary not to let the varnish crack. The wood is diagonally engraved and feels slightly uneven but an attentive process reduces this unevenness although not fully eliminating it. Swelling between one grain and the other can occur in same wood types after they are water varnished. The more the hardness between the growth rings of the wood, the more this effect stands out.

STRUCTURE
Uppers, transoms and plugs are in solid wood and in the stated wood-type.

RAISED PANELS
The raised panels are made with a marine ply panel in the stated wood type or with 2 overlapped marine ply panels in the stated wood type, glued with vinyl glue.

VARNISHING
The panelling panel that has previously undergone an evening painting treatment is varnished with environmentally free water varnishes and 4 times harder than traditional varnishes.
