HAND CARVED PANELLING


placeholderPanels made entirely of solid wood such as oak, cherry wood, chestnut and Italian walnut proposed in an aged version are an integral part of the most prestigious of the Dierre panelling families.

STRUCTURAL FEATURES
Both the choice and treatment of wood types are suited to maintain their natural features. Uniformity makes the natural unevenness of wood look like a defect. Our panels aged through purely manual techniques represent the test bench of the perfection of the treatments that follow in as much as they are able of harmonizing the overall beauty of the finished panelling. For the hand carved panels the wood types used such as OAK, ITALIAN WALNUT, CHESTNUT AND CHERRY are from Italy or Europe.

STRUCTURE
Uppers, transoms and plugs are in solid wood and in the stated wood-type.

RAISED PANELS
Raised panels are in solid wood made out of boards joined with Class D3 approved vinyl glue and then hand carved.

VARNISHING
The panelling panel, that has previously undergone an evening painting treatment, is finished with clear environmentally free varnish and the manual application of beeswax.
